Jesse Jorstad

Jesse Jorstad brings over 15 years of experience in the homelessness and housing sector, with a career grounded in using data to inform policy, measure impact, and improve services. As a nationally recognized expert in Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS), Jesse has supported communities across the country—including right here in Snohomish County—through innovative tools, strategic consulting, and collaborative leadership.
Currently leading his own consulting practice, Jesse specializes in helping local systems strengthen data quality and leverage insights for more equitable, effective responses to homelessness. His work has shaped national tools used by HUD and transformed local dashboards to bring greater transparency and accountability to service systems.
Jesse has also served in leadership and facilitation roles with Everett/Snohomish County PFLAG and Snohomish County Legal Services, always centering LGBTQIA+ inclusion and youth empowerment.
He joined the Globe board to support a thriving, inclusive community where all young people feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

Kindra Ramos

Kindra Ramos brings two decades of experience in nonprofit communications, advocacy, and public engagement, with a career rooted in amplifying voices and building connections across communities. As a seasoned leader in Washington’s outdoor and environmental space, she has championed access to public lands and worked to ensure that all people—especially those historically underrepresented—feel welcome and empowered in the outdoors.

In her current role as Chief Programs Officer at Washington Trails Association, Kindra oversees strategy and storytelling that inspires stewardship, community building, and systems change. Her work reflects a deep belief in the power of collective action and the importance of inclusive spaces—whether on the trail or in our neighborhoods.
Kindra and her wife live in Everett, where she is committed to helping shape a community rooted in safety, belonging, and joy for LGBTQIA+ people. She joined the Globe board to help create spaces where we can come together and celebrate the queer community.

Gilbert Villalpando

Gilbert Villalpando is a longtime equity and inclusion leader with a passion for building communities where everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered to thrive. With over two decades of experience in higher education and public service, he has dedicated his career to expanding access and driving systemic change—especially for historically excluded communities.

As Senior Manager of Culture and Belonging at Premera Blue Cross, Gilbert leads efforts to embed equity and inclusion into organizational culture. His past roles include Director of Equity, Education & Community Engagement at Bellevue College and Organizational & Human Development Consultant, where he helped mission-driven teams strengthen their leadership and build more inclusive systems. This people-centered, equity-driven approach shapes his contributions to Globe, where he supports efforts to create meaningful, connected spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth and families in Snohomish County.

Outside of work, Gilbert serves on the board of the Seattle Pride Hockey Association and is a dedicated community-builder. Whether he’s gardening, hiking, crafting, or hosting game nights with his wife and friends, he brings joy, care, and a strong sense of purpose to every space he’s part of. He joined the Globe board in [Year] to help foster a community where belonging isn’t just a goal—it’s a shared responsibility.

JT Blaylock

JT Blaylock is a skilled IT professional with a background in helpdesk support, technical operations, and customer service. With experience spanning healthcare, higher education, and tech, JT brings a steady, thoughtful approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.

He became involved with Globe as an ally, motivated by a deep commitment to supporting his friends and family in the LGBTQIA+ community. JT joined the board in [Year] to help create more inclusive spaces and ensure queer youth and families in Snohomish County feel safe, supported, and celebrated.

Outside of work, JT enjoys an active lifestyle that includes indoor rock climbing, handcycling, wheelchair tennis and pickleball, as well as video games and exploring new cuisines. His energy, curiosity, and dedication to building connection make him a valued member of the Globe board.

Arra Rael

Arra Rael brings a unique blend of lived experience, professional expertise, and deep community care to their work in behavioral health and LGBTQIA+ advocacy. With a background in outreach, engagement, and family support services, Arra is passionate about fostering connection and reducing stigma around mental health—especially within queer and trans communities.

Arra currently serves as Outreach and Engagement Manager at a local nonprofit providing behavioral health and family support, while also interning as a mental health counselor. They are pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, with the goal of providing affirming, identity-centered care to individuals and families navigating complex systems and experiences. Their insight into mental health access, community resilience, and inclusive communication brings valuable perspective to Globe’s work with LGBTQIA+ youth and families.

Outside of work and school, Arra enjoys foodie adventures with their wife, family time, and hanging out at home with their beloved cat. They joined the Globe board, inspired by the opportunity to use their skills in service of a more compassionate and connected queer community—alongside a team they deeply admire.

Amy Leonard

Amy Leonard has been a dedicated social services professional in Snohomish County for more than three decades, with deep experience in both mental health and medical care. In her current role as a Palliative Care Social Worker, she supports patients and families with compassion and dignity as they navigate complex health journeys. Her career reflects a lifelong commitment to care, connection, and community.

A longtime supporter of Globe and proud Snohomo Bingo regular, Amy joined the board inspired by a desire to give back to the queer community she’s called home for many years. She brings valuable insight from both her personal and professional life, and is especially excited to help guide Globe through this time of transition and possibility—supporting even more LGBTQIA+ programs, services, and spaces in the years ahead.

Amy lives in Everett with her wife and enjoys spending time with their spirited four-year-old grandson, who visits weekly. She’s an avid reader, an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL), and a proud mom of two grown sons, both raised in Everett Public Schools. Her thoughtful perspective and deep local roots make her a treasured part of the Globe community.
