This merger brings more than just a new name. With an updated mission and vision, a newly appointed board of directors, and an expanded service area across Snohomish County and the region, Globe is growing to better serve our community.
Over the past year, the board has been focused on strengthening our programs, expanding our capacity, and engaging community members in shaping the future of Globe’s work.
We’re also proud to announce the election of our new Board President, local artist, blogger, and trans rights activist Jesse Jorstad. With more than 15 years of experience in homeless housing policy—spanning local, state, and federal work—Jesse is known for turning data into action and driving systems-level change. Since 2018, he has also been a dedicated volunteer with our youth support group and the Links & Alliances Youth Conference.
